Now let’s talk the rose gold wax. Absolutely fantastic! The smell, the application and the finish , all superior.

I refurbished a 25+ year old pine dining table, chairs and small cupboard to refresh our dining room. I painted the bases and chairs with Fusion mineral paint and used Gilboys hard wax oil (2 coats) for the tops, followed by a single coating of Gilboy's Pure Gold beeswax and buffed with the fine wire wool and buffing cloth from the gift pack, to a lovely sheen. It feels so lovely under the touch and looks amazing. I put too much wax on and hard to cut it back with the wire wool but after a bit of work it came good for a perfect finish.

I love Simon's enthusiasm in his YouTube videos and will be ordering more products for future projects without a doubt!

Highly recommended, oh and try the honey, it's fab on toast!

Really pleased with the results of restoring two inherited Ercol kitchen chairs.
Having watched the videos I felt confident to tackle the project. I bought both the hard wax oil in clear and the beeswax pure gold . Both were great to use and have beautifully enhanced the appearance of the wood.

Paired this with the oil for my kitchen unit tops and it’s turned out so well. I’m training in upholstery so have used the rest and can report I’m very happy with the bundle. Recent complete Kitchen overhaul and decided to put up an Oak shelf to compliment the cupboards and rest of kitchen, then the task of what finish to use. Came across Simon on youtube describing his own Hard Wax Oil, asked a few questions to which Simon responded promptly so purchased the HWO. I have been very impressed by the product and also by Simon and his team. They come across as very caring, professional and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.
I have attached a few photos of the shelf. I had purchased 2 planks and the shelf offcut I finished with 2 coats of the oil same as the shelf, so used this to try and put into context.

As a complete novice I was completely dependent on the quality of the product and the online tutorials. Combined with the Gilboys Antique Gold Wax that I already had, this has given me a wonderful, rich and water repellent finish for my first ever table-top. Worth every penny.

Arrived in good order just as promised. Personal note and seeds are a nice touch. Still to use the product, but looks just what I am looking for.

Was introduced to The wonders of Gilboys watching an influencer o You Tube restoring furniture. I purchased several items.
Not only did they arrive quickly, they were expertly packaged and there was a personalised note which is a lovely touch.
The oil is superb and goes on easily. Note to self a little goes a long way!
Vey impressed. On another note I asked a few questions directly to Simon. He answered with reassurance that I had not ruined the furniture (over using the oil!!!) and he gave me tips on what I needed to do.
What a brilliant company.

We called by on chance and met Simon, he spent loads of time showing us around and passing on his knowledge on how to best use their products.

Very pleased with the result of my grandfather’s old and worn out chair. Amazing results and followed Simon’s three step process to restore the chair which removed all the confusion out of how best to do this. Now just finishing the upholstery.
